PowerClean is a family owned start-up that aims to provide quality carpet and pressure cleaning services in and around the Eastern Cape. We were invited to create a unique brand identity that reflected their pride for providing reliable and professional cleaning services.
While we never pass up the opportunity to be involved in the re-imaging of a brand’s identity, there is something especially exciting about being asked to design a company’s identity from scratch. Starting the conceptual process before the name has even been finalised, allowed us to work closely with the founders and ensure our designs lived up to their vision. Although their company was still young, they wanted a brand identity that projected a strong, established feel that could install a sense of reliability and trust in potential clients and investors.
After researching competitors in the cleaning industry we realised there was the potential to create an impactful logo that would turn heads. We knew our client was confident in his service and wanted to create a bold, upbeat logo that his staff would feel proud to wear the same way a hero wears a crest on their chests. A simple, descriptive name, and a punchy, clean logo was born.
It can't be emphasised enough, consumers trust brands they know and having a consistent brand aesthetic goes a long way towards building trust and familiarity with potential and existing clientele. As PowerClean was a
young business with a variety of points of contact with potential clients, we felt it was important to create an established brand aesthetic that maintained integrity across various their stationary and vehicles.
