Haasbroek & Boezaart, a well establish law firm based in Pretoria, reached out to us to assist in rebranding their corporate identity. While they required a facelift to their existing visuals, they requested that we remain as true as possible to their existing identity whilst giving it a contemporary update that would have broad market appeal.
After exploring various logo iterations, and perhaps pushing the brief past the client’s restrictions in the process, we decide to re-adapt their existing logo and utilize a sophisticated duo colour treatment and graphic devices in order to bring the firm’s branding into the 21st century. Using a gold pantone accent and a rich navy base, we were able to empower the brand with an established and respected colour scheme that translated well across their different brand elements. The circular graphic element encompassed the typography, balancing out the logo and creating visual links to a historic wax seal of approval that resonated with the brand’s core strengths.
Once the logo was signed off we proceed with applying the new identity to their business cards, letterhead, email signatures, signage and then finally completed a brand guide to established the correct usage of the new design assets across multiple mediums for all future design work.
